Notorious former football player O.J. Simpson is pleading with the president to be released from jail due to the discovery of a brain tumor.
According to The Washington Times, Simpson is currently undergoing tests to see if the tumor is cancerous. However, he is sure that he could die any day now. National Enquirer reports that he told a friend of his, “I feel the end coming, but I don’t want to die in prison like common jailhouse scum.” Hence, he decided to plead with President Obama to set him free.‘I’ve been a supporter of Barack Obama since the beginning,' says O.J. “He needs to give me a pardon!”
Simpson, who is currently imprisoned for kidnapping, assault, robbery and using a deadly weapon, was reportedly already killing himself before he ever knew about his tumor. The National Enquirer also reported that a few months ago, doctors told Simpson, who is a severe diabetic with hypertension, that he needed to start exercising regularly and drop some pounds, or else his current condition would only allow him three more months of life. He was later put on suicide watch, but did not believe it was any use: “Don’t worry, man. I’m not going to kill myself. I don’t have to – I’m dying. The docs think I’ve got a brain tumor. I won’t see another Christmas."
Simpson would be eligible for parole in 2017
