The nominations for the 86th Academy Awards were announced in Los Angeles this morning by actor Chris Hemsworth and Academy President Cheryl Boone-Isaacs. American Hustle and Gravity lead the way with the most nominations with 10 each, while 12 Years A Slave came in a close second.
The Academy nominated nine films for Best Picture. American Hustle snagged nominations in all four acting categories. 12 Years A Slave, Dallas Buyers Club, August: Osage County and Blue Jasmine are the only other films to earn more than one acting nomination.
