Sandra Bullock was a big winner at Wednesday night’s People’s Choice Awards, which aired live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and hosted by 2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.
Bullock accepted awards for favorite comedic movie actress, favorite movie actress, favorite dramatic movie actress and favorite movie duo with George Clooney in Gravity. Her film with Melissa McCarthy, The Heat also got the award for favorite comedic movie.
Justin Timberlake won three awards, including favorite album for The 20/20 Experience and the movie Iron Man 3 got three as well, Fox News reports.
It was Ellen DeGeneres who made history, picking up her 14th People’s Choice Award, the most anyone has ever received.
USA Today notes DeGeneres said in her speech, "I treasure this because it is from the people, and there is no better thing than knowing you are making people happy.”
She also joked, "As a young girl growing up in New Orleans, if anyone would have told me I was going to win 14 People's Choice Awards I...I mean 12, yes. 13, maybe. But 14?"
