Peyton Manning addressed the comment made by the Seattle Seahawk’s outspoken cornerback, Richard Sherman Thursday morning. During the final press conference before the Super Bowl Manning joked about Sherman’s “duck” insult.
While Sherman was reporting for MMQB.com he wrote that Manning is a smart quarterback but tends to throw “ducks.” But, the Denver Bronco’s quarterback did not disagree.
According to foxsports Manning responded saying, “I believe it to be true as well. I don’t think that’s a real reach what he’s saying. I’ve thrown a lot of yards and touchdowns with ducks. I’m actually quite proud of it.”
It’s no secret that since suffering nerve damage from several neck surgeries, Manning’s arm strength has changed. But, he still led his team to the Super Bowl, a team that completely believes in his abilities.
According to TheDenverPost Bronco’s tight end, Julius Thomas, said it didn’t matter what Manning’s passes were called, he’ll continue taking them everyday.
We’ll see what Sherman calls Manning’s passes after they battle it out during Sunday’s Super Bowl.
