2015 quarterback recruit Ricky Town withdrew his commitment from University of Alabama and committed to USC on Saturday night. Although the Trojans finished their 2014 recruiting a couple of weeks ago, they began their 2015 trail.

The Trojans are looking to improve on their 5th place finish for 2014 Pac-12 recruiting, according to Rivals.

Town is the No. 2 rated pro-style quarterback and No. 22 overall recruit in the country for 2015 recruits, according to ESPN.

According to USC247Sports, Town's decision was strongly influenced by the Trojans hiring Steve Sarkisian as their head coach. Town said in a text that he has a "strong relationship with Sarkisian, Coach Tui and Clay Helton."

Town also received offers from schools such as Georgia, Arizona State, Miami, Florida State and Texas.

Fellow 2015 quarterback recruit David Sills, who has been committed to USC for four years, is now expected to realign his commitment to Alabama with Lane Kiffin becoming their offensive coordinator. Kiffin recruited Sills when he was only 13 years old.
