Olivia Palermo, best known for the reality show The City got engaged to her boyfriend, German model Joahnnes Huebl, on New Year's Eve.
According to E! News, Huebl popped the question while the two of them are on vacation for the holidays in St. Bart's.
The newly engaged couple took to Instagram to announce their big news. The video focuses on Palermo walking around outside with the song "Jungle," by Emma Louise, playing i the background. The 27-year-old shows her ring off to the camera and Huebl notes in the caption, "Happy New Year to everybody and this is how we celebrate it: OP said Y E S."
The couple have been together for five years. Though she was seen as the antagonist of the reality show, Huebl insisted to Elle that she isn't really like that. "She is completely different than she's been portrayed on her job, everyone who meets her-especially with me-is surprised about her happiness, and her friendliness and smiles."
