The Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl, but all anyone is talking about is the explosive post-game interview cornerback Richard Sherman gave to Fox’s Erin Andrews. San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree apparently said things about him during the season and Sherman wanted to make sure that no one does that again.

Sherman was challenged by 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick when Kaepernick threw to Crabtree in a last-ditch effort for a touchdown in the game’s final minute. Sherman won the battle, deflecting the ball into the hands of teammate Malcolm Smith, who caught the interception.

The Associated Press notes that right after the play, Sherman and Crabtree got into a scuffle, which was called a personal foul.

Andrews asked Sherman about the incident after the game and he went on a rant. “I’m the best corner in the game,” he yelled into the mic. “When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you gonna get. Don’t you ever talk about me!”

Andrews seemed to be in disbelief, asking, “Who was talking about you?” “Crabtree,” Sherman replied, notes TheWrap. “Don’t you open your mouth about the best. Or I’ma shut it for you real quick. L.O.B.”

“I was making sure everybody knew Crabtree was a mediocre receiver,” Sherman later said. “And when you try the best corner in the game with a mediocre receiver that’s what happens.”

The Seahawks will play the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl on Feb. 2 in New Jersey.
