Selena Gomez is taking time to make the rounds at Sundance this year. The singer and actress put away her worries on Monday to promote her new film.
According to the Associated Press, Gomez told reporters at Sundance, "I could just wear my own clothes and not have to worry about anything and just be with these cool people."
Rudderless is a new movie featuring Billy Crudup, Laurence Fishburne, Anton Yelchin, and William H. Macy. The movie is about a grieving father looking for redemption after the loss of his son. Gomez plays Kate in the film. Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison adapted the screenplay from the original story they wrote with Macy, according to Variety. Keith Kjarval produced the film through his Unified Pictures banner. International sales are handled by Radiant Films. Rudderless will premiere as the Sundance festival's closing night film this Friday.
Gomez has been an actress in the films, Getaway, Spring Breakers, and Aftershock. Stars Dance is her solo album from Selena Gomez, released in 2013.
