Spike Lee is scheduled to make talk all his own on SiriusXM. The celebrated filmmaker’s new radio show, “Spike Lee’s Best Seat in the House” debuts on Jan. 30.

The show will be featured on Channel 217 and will air every other week. It will feature guests from sports and entertainment. Spike Lee is known to be an aficionado of basketball and has courtside seats at Madison Square Garden. He was seen at a recent game speaking to NBA hero, Reggie Miller.

According to the Associated Press, SiriusXM president and chief content officer Scott Greenstein said in a statement, “While he's well known for his courtside allegiance to the Knicks, he knows the league and its history inside and out and can bring together the worlds of basketball and entertainment like no one else can."

Spike Lee wrote and directed He Got Game. His other film hits include Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X, Get On the Bus, and the documentary, The Original Kings of Comedy. According to Variety, Lee’s upcoming film projects include Spinning Gold, a biopic about record executive Neil Bogart.
