Dave Broome, creator of the television show, The Biggest Loser, will work with Sony Pictures Television this year.

The reality TV producer will create and produce unscripted shows through his 25/7 banner. The deal will last for two years. SPT exec vp reality and syndicated programming Holly Jacobs told The Hollywood Reporter, ”Dave has a great track record of producing captivating unscripted series that resonate with viewers. His understanding of the reality business and creativity make him an ideal partner, so we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship."

The Biggest Loser has been a great success, boasting a viewers for over 15 seasons, according to Variety. The Biggest Loser features contestants who take part in triathlons and other physical challenges in an effort to lose weight. The Biggest Loser is broadcast in 90 countries around the world.

Broome’s other projects have included a digital series for AOL and a sports documentary for Netflix. He has also been involved with the ABC Family show, The Vineyard and TVGN’s Rich at Night.
