We open on Sydney, Simon, Zach and Andrew riding in the office elevator. Sydney is holding s trophy for a tournament she just won but lied about her age to enter. We see that Sydney has this obsessive need to win...no matter what.

As they get off the elevator, Simon wants to talk abut to the video game pitch. They tell Simon their pitch idea and Simon likes it. He then asks Sydney where she's at on the "Zen-Phoria spa campaign?" Sydney replies that she's asked Lauren to help since she went to Cosmetology school. Sydney tells Simon that they want "to communicate to the customer that Zen-Phoria is more than just a spa. It's an experience, it's a lifestyle...B.Y.O.Z...Bring your own Zen." Simon praises both teams ideas but then says they won't pitch either one because "inspiration hit me this morning" when he downloaded a new app to his phone. Simon then tells the gang that he wants them to to take the clients "out of their comfort zones" and switch campaigns.

Once Simon leaves, the gang explains about he is messing up their pitches every time he downloads a new app. Then, an advance copy of the video game Medal of Glory is delivered to the agency. Sydney tries to impress the developers of the game with her knowledge of it, but just comes off looking stupid. Andrew and Zach then chime in and save the pitch with their correct knowledge of the game.

Sydney tells Simon that she had the perfect spa pitch and will never be able to "break into the video game boys' club." Simon replied that her spa idea was good but that each campaign needs "a new perspective."

The gang all start playing the game in search of a "new perspective." Sydney fumbles at first then starts getting good at the military-style, shoot 'em up game and her obsessive need to win begins to around rear it's ugly head.

Early the next day, Simon, Zach and Andrew arrive at the agency and see Sydney vigorously playing the game but the realize she's wearing the same clothes from the day before. Simon tells Sydney that the spa reps will be arriving soon so she reluctantly pauses the game, goes to her office but then falls asleep on her desk.

Simon brings the spa reps into the agency. They find everyone dressed as if they were in a spa with robes and Andrew and Zach have colored facials on. Simon then pitches to the reps that the agency "believes that creativity springs from serenity." Sydney then wakes up screaming, slightly disturbing the reps. Simon downplays the sudden outburst. Simon then excuses himself from the Zen-Phoria reps and asks Zach and Andrew to take over the pitch. Simon then goes to Sydney, tells her to pause the game and that she just almost ruined the Zen-Phoria spa pitch.

Sydney apologizes saying that she's just "trying to fall in love with the product." Then Simon apologizes, suggests that "the research phase is over" and for Lauren,Andrew and Zach to come in so they all can start throwing ideas around. Sydney agrees because she's exhausted.

Simon puts on the Zen-Phoria spa sleep kitty mask after trying to decide if Andrew or Zach's hands are softer. Then, Lauren comes in since Simon wanted to know where she and Sydney were on the video game pitch. Lauren reiterates Sydney's contention that they need to "fall in love with the product," but Lauren says she hates it because Sydney is "mean" and keeps killing her avatar and rubbing her face in it.

Simon then apologizes to Lauren saying that Sydney's behavior is his fault because he put too much pressure on her. Simon then goes to talk to Sydney but finds his office door locked. Lauren then sees that Sydney is leaving the agency. He uses the other door and Simon asks Sydney where she's going as she heads for the elevator. She says she's going for an early lunch but is clearly lying. Once the elevator doors close, Andrew suggests staging an intervention for Sydney. Simon doesn't think a "traditional intervention will work." Zach then suggests not taking the "traditional" route.

Simon, Lauren, Andrew and Zach all make their own avatars and stage an intervention for Sydney inside the game itself. Sydney acts like she's playing along but then has her avatar kill Simon, Lauren, Zach and Andrew's avatars while laughing maniacally.

Simon finds Sydney playing the video game in a dark room. Simon tells her that he wants to talk to her about her addiction to the video game. She denies that she's addicted. Simon then realizes that she's addicted to winning and says that it's his fault because he always let her win at everything when she was growing up. Sydney replies that isn't true.

Flashback to a young Sydney and Simon always letting her win.

Back to the present. Sydney asks Simon why he did that. He explains that after his divorce from her mother they "had such little time together so I wanted to make all of it positive." Sydney then realizes that's why she's such a bad loser. Simon agrees. Simon insists that Zach and Andrew have good ideas for the video game pitch and they can land it but Sydney replies that she wants to land it to prove she's the best. Sydney then says that she saw him so little growing up that she thought he would love her more if she was a winner. She then turns off the game, looks in the mirror and is horrified at her appearance saying, "I don't even recognize myself." Then, she turns to Simon and says she has an idea for the pitch.

Simon, Zach, Andrew and Lauren are in the pitch meeting with the video game's developers and Simon tells them they have come with the perfect way to sell the game. Then, Sydney bursts in and accuses the game's developers of making an addictive game. She then pulls up a graphic of her well-groomed self before she started playing the game and then the complete mess she was after playing it for four days straight.

She goes on to say that she "saw sides of myself I never wanted to know about. I went 17 hours without a pee break, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat because I never felt more alive. Because that is the face of a winner. Medal of Glory a game so realistic, you can't help but come out of it scarred for life." The video game developers love it and hire the agency.

Meanwhile, Zacb seems to be having a severe allergic reaction to a Zen-Phoria product he used on his lips and tells Andrew and Lauren to stab him with the Eli-pen he has in his pocket if it gets real bad.
