With lots of midseason premieres and new series, this week in television is looking very exciting. Read on to see what you should be watching!
Sunday, January 5: Check your local listings for the time of the midseason premiere of Downton Abbey on PBS, or watch The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo, a rare look at the series’ casting, on ABC. Plus, Will uses his knowledge of Alicia’s weaknesses to get under her skin in court on The Good Wife.
Monday, January 6: Look for the premiere episode of Juan Pablo’s The Bachelor, where the former soccer player will try to find love. You can also see the premiere of Teen Wolf on MTV, or watch the two episode season finale of Hostages on CBS.
Tuesday, January 7: Josh Holloway stars as a spy with a microchip in his head on the series premiere of Intelligence on CBS, and teen mystery drama series Pretty Little Liars returns with some answers about the mystery of A on ABC Family. Also, Tricia Helfer and Marc Blucas star in new action-drama Killer Women on ABC, and Raylan Givens returns to his crime fighting ways on FX’s Justified.
Wednesday, January 8: Find out what the Santa Barbara PD’s new ban on psychics means for Gus and Shawn on the midseason premiere of Psych, or watch the result of Aaron’s nanite attack on Revolution. Also, see the series premiere of Chicago Fire spin-off Chicago P.D. on NBC.
Thursday, January 9: The fall-out from Leslie’s recall election loss is revealed on Parks and Recreation. Also, Will Ferrell, Kristin Wigg, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, and Val Kilmer star in parody miniseries The Spoils of Babylon, premiering on IFC.
Friday, January 10: Military comedy Enlisted, starring Chris Lowell and Parker Young, premieres on FOX. Also, a group of doctors must deal with a potential viral outbreak in the Arctic on SyFy’s Helix, and McGarrett helps Grover investigate his friend’s disappearance after he apparently commits murder on Hawaii Five-0. Plus, Brennan attempts to track down the Ghost Killer on Bones.
Saturday, January 11: John Ratzenberger guest stars on Bones, where Brennan and Booth go undercover at a marriage retreat. Plus, Kennex and Dorian investigate a black-market organ ring on Almost Human, and new Animation Domination shows Lucas Bros. Moving Co. and Golan the Insatiable premiere on FOX.
