Midseason premieres are continuing, and there are some really exciting new shows premiering this week. Look below to see what new shows you should be adding to your watch list!

Sunday, January 12: Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey star in HBO’s True Detective, a new drama about two Louisiana detectives who re-open a seventeen year old murder case. Also, Girls returns and shows the outcome of Hannah and Adam’s kiss. Later, House of Lies and Shameless return with all-new episodes.

Monday, January 13: Smallville’s Laura Vandervoot stars as the only female werewolf in existence on Syfy’s new series Bitten, and FXX premieres their new animated comedy Chozen, starring Bobby Moynihan, Method Man, and Nick Swardson. Also look for the mid-season premieres of ABC Family dramas Switched at Birth and The Fosters, as well as Syfy’s Being Human and FX’s Archer.

Tuesday, January 14: Special effects make-up competition Face Off returns for its sixth season. Also, sketch comedy The Kroll Show returns on Comedy Central.

Wednesday, January 15: FOX premieres American Idol’s thirteenth season with judges Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban. Also, Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy return on ABC family, while Suburgatory returns to ABC to show the aftermath of Tessa moving in with her mom. Plus, reality hunting show Duck Dynasty premieres its new season on A&E.

Thursday, January 16: Even though ABC has already cancelled low-rated drama The Assets, you can catch the premiere episode at 10 PM in case you missed it last week. Plus, see an all new Community with guest star Walton Goggins on NBC, and then catch a new Parks and Recreation, where Ann and Chris will considering moving away from Pawnee.

Friday, January 17: Cold Case returns to TNT. Later, watch the premiere of APB with Troy Dunn, a new unscripted reality series that follows Troy Dunn as he travels across the country investigating real life crimes.

Saturday, January 18: ABC airs Will Smith’s superhero movie Hancock, or watch the season one finale of The Following in preparation for the upcoming season two premiere on FOX.
