We're just a couple days away from reentering the land of badass witches, cat fights, and blood baths, and there is still so much left to uncover! For one, there is a massive war breaking out between the witches and the witch hunters, which we saw was literally a bloody mess last episode, all while an internal war exists inside Miss Robichaux's Academy itself as the girls fight to prove who is the next Supreme.

If you're as die hard of a fan as me, your jaws are still dropped at the shocking deaths last episode. Between Queenie pointing a gun in her mouth to kill Cordelia's psycho witch-hunter husband Hank after he went on a shooting spree murdering all of Marie Laveau's coven, to Myrtle cutting out the eyes of her former Council members to grant her beloved Cordelia her eyesight back, to Patti LuPone suffocating her poor son with a pillow, after he learned the truth that his crazy mother killed his father, there were enough moments to throw me into shock mode - and torture me with waiting three weeks to find out what happens!

Much like the past two seasons, Coven has been extremely twisted and haunting. Though my list of shocking moments this season sure surpasses ten, here are the ten most unforgettable moments as seen on Coven so far.

[new page = Kyle's shocking death]

10. Kyle is killed in bus accident

Kyle, a clean-cut all American frat boy with a kind heart, played by American Horror Story alum and fan-favorite Evan Peters, gets killed off in the very first episode after Madison (Emma Roberts) flips over his bus after being gang-raped. Not by dear Kyle, of course, but by his awful frat brothers who took advantage of her. Sadly enough, Kyle was the one to walk into the scene with Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) who stops the action immediately. After boarding a bus with his fraternity brothers and lecturing them about what they had just done, Madison uses her telekinetic ability to flip the entire bus over which kills all but one of the boys. We are tricked to think that Kyle is the one who survives, however, it is instead one of the boys involved in the gang-rape. But don't worry, Zoe sneaks into the hospital and kills him using her witch powers of death by sex.

9. Marie Laveau "poisons" Madame LaLaurie with immortality

This isn't to say Madame LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) didn't deserve some sort of karma for using her slave's pancreatic blood to spread on her face to keep herself from aging. And Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) sure knew the ultimate way to torture the Madame. After tricking her into developing an anti-aging spell, it is revealed to instead be a spell of immortality! She murders Madame LaLaurie's daughters in front of her face, and afterwards is buried alive, until Nan discovers her about a century later.

Interestingly enough, both Madame LaLaurie and Marie Laveau were real historical figures. Check out the video for all the information!

[new page = Fiona kills Madison]

8. Fiona slits Madison's throat

There is no doubt about it that Fiona (Jessica Lange) is the baddest witch in town. She is the Supreme after all, but when she starts to realize she's losing her powers as she ages, she becomes more power-hungry than ever. Flashing back into Fiona's past, we find out that she was the youngest Supreme ever in the Coven, seceding her mother's reign, to whom she killed for the spot.

Fiona believes Madison is the next Supreme and that she's sucking the powers out of her. So in typical Fiona fashion, she decides to befriend her by taking her out for a drink, a game of pool, and watches her charm men like how she used to. At the end of the night she asks Madison to kill her by slitting her throat, but Madison refuses, and so in the same way she killed her mother, she slits Madison's throat and watches her die. As she steps over her body, she says, "This coven doesn't need a new Supreme, it needs a new rug." Is it too gruesome to say I love her?

[new page = Spalding's hushed secret]

7. Spalding cuts his own tongue out to protect Fiona

Spalding - no one could do this character justice except for the ever-so-perfect Denis O'Hare. The creepy butler, who happens to be madly in love with the big bad Fiona, witnessed her throat slashing her mother, the Supreme. So when he overhears that Myrtle (Frances Conroy) is putting a spell on him which will force him to tell the truth about what he saw, he slices his own tongue off right after he tells Fiona that he loves her.

[new page = Queenie is a meanie]

6. Queenie betrays the coven by handing over Madame LaLaurie to Marie

I love Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe)'s character, don't get me wrong. When she tries to have sex with the minotaur (as weird as it is) and goes into the monologue about being misunderstood, I really felt for her. And who can forget when she gets drive thru with Madame LaLaurie - her servant - herself?! That might just be my favorite moment on the entire series.

But when she starts to realize that she will never become the next Supreme, she runs away to Marie Laveau, where she feels she fits in. She even brings her servant and friend LaLaurie, for a disturbing reunion with the woman who granted her immortality, in which Marie encourages Queenie to torture her. They even cut off her head, and forced her to watch footage from the Civil Rights Movement! In which she even tears up to, out of guilt.

[new page = Cordelia loses her eyesight but gains visions]

5. Cordelia sees things she could never see before

When Cordelia is blinded by a hooded figure in the bathroom - someone in Marie Laveau's coven - she loses her eyesight, and instead gains intense visions of things when she touches people. She is able to see the truth - that includes Madison's rebirth and the truth of Fiona killing her, Fiona burning Myrtle at the stake, and her husband cheating on her.

Of course, in the latest episode, Myrtle gets revenge on the Council members for believing she blinded Cordelia, by cutting out their eyes and giving Delia her sight back. So no more visions for 'Delia.

[new page = Axeman horror]

4. Axeman comes back from the dead

Based off a real New Orleans serial killer who was a lover of jazz music and murdered those who opposed it, the Axeman (Danny Huston) is a ghost in Miss Robichaux's Academy after he was murdered there by witches in the past.

So when Zoe is convinced that Madison's ghost was living inside the house, she and the other witches acquire a ouija board and talk to not Madison's ghost, but the Axeman himself! Worse yet, Zoe makes a deal that she will bring him back to life if he can direct her to wear Madison's body is. He does.

[new page = Zoe's killing spree]

3. Zoe murders a heard of zombies with a chainsaw

Who knew Zoe had it in her?! I certainly didn't - but when I saw her take immediate control after Marie revived the dead to murder the witches in Miss Robichaux's Academy, Zoe devises a plan. Once Nan stepped outside to save Neighbor Boy, who didn't quite understand the concept of murderous zombies, Nan runs out the doors of the Academy to save him. Even though Nan is a powerful witch, she doesn't have the strength to fight them off, so Zoe distracts the zombies by banging pots and pans together. She later goes on to fight them off with a chain saw and acquires Supreme-like powers to slash all the zombies trying to kill them.

This came as such a shock because as Fiona told her early on, she is weak. Before proving herself as quite the opposite, Zoe is shown as hesitant and someone who does not take control. I'm still crossing my fingers that Zoe is the next Supreme!

[new page = Hanks' dark secret]

2. Cordelia's husband turns out to be a murderous witch hunter

It was pretty obvious that Hank (Josh Hamilton) was hiding something from the start. So when he went to have an affair with the lovely Kaylee (Alexandra Breckenridge), it was confirmation that he was a dirtbag. But when he pulled out the gun and shot the girl, that came as a complete shock, and immediately he was thought to be a psychopath.

But then we learned the truth - that he is part of a large corporation of witch hunters, headed by his father, who taught him how to shoot witches. Turned out Hank was working for Marie Laveau, who threatened to kill him if he didn't murder the witches in Miss Robicheaux's academy by the end of the night, including his wife.

We find out he does indeed love Cordelia, and turns on Marie by shooting her entire coven of witches, including Queenie! But then Queenie uses her voodoo powers and kills Hank, spattering his brains everywhere.

[new page = Witches unite]

1. Marie Laveau shows up coven-less at Miss Robicheaux's Academy

Witches stick together. Even if they hate each other, like Fiona and Marie. But it's war now, and both the witch hunters and the witches are more than ready to fight.

Well, the witches have some serious drama to put aside first. For one, Fiona is losing her powers to an unknown Supreme, the girls all want to be the next Supreme, and no one really gets along too well. Will their powers combined stop the witch hunters?

In the meantime, here's the promo for the return of Coven this Wednesday Jan. 8 on FX at 10/9c!
