Modern Family star Ty Burrell helped a few bar going members in Utah by being a witness for a lesbian couple during their surprise wedding.
The Huffington Post reported that a group was commemorating the legalization of same-sex marriage in the state and a coupe decided to get married right on the spot.
Anne Anast, an executive director at Transgender Education Advocates, and her partner, Lindi Marie Inman, asked the co-owner of the bar they were celebrating to serve as a witness. The owner turned out to be the Modern Family star Burrell.
E! Online reported Anast posted a picture on her Facebook page with the Modern Family star and wrote ""Wonderful night for a wedding! Thanks for hosting us and thanks Ty Burrell for being one of our witnesses!"
She went on to explain the wedding in detail on her Facebook page, saying, ""Dude. Seriously. Ty Burrell was a witness? Michael Picardi and Bob Henline, too? And Dan Ellis performed the ceremony? In a bar? Best. Lesbian. Wedding. Ever."
