New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. was arrested last November for possession of synthetic marijuana, but now a witness is claiming that the athlete was exposed and pleasuring himself in a Target parking lot.
According to the NJ.com, court documents state that East Hanover police were called to the scene in the parking lot because a woman alleged she saw Winslow masturbating in his Cadillac Escalade with the window open.
The New York Daily News has reported that Winslow’s representative, Denise White, denied the embarrassing claim.
"Kellen pulled over to a parking lot to smoke what he thought at the time was a legal substance," White said in a statement released Friday. "He changed his clothes in his vehicle as to not smell like smoke when he returned home.
"There was absolutely nothing inappropriate that took place and if there was police would have investigated further and charged Kellen which they did not. This will be the only time we comment on this unfounded and ridiculous claim."
Last week, Winslow pleaded not guilty to the drug charge.
