Rapper Young Jeezy was arrested last week and charged for allegedly beating his son back in September 2012. The charges included false imprisonment, battery and making terroristic threats.

Police documents show that Jeezy and his son began a fight in a bathroom, reports TMZ. He threw his son into a shower door, and then punched him in his face. Jeezy then allegedly dragged him to a bedroom, where he continued to hit him. The report claims that Jeezy’s bodyguard had stopped his son from trying to escape.

Jeezy allegedly yelled “I will put a bullet in your head right now” at his son, who is a teenager. He also screamed, “If I could get away with it, I would kill you,” according to the documents. Vibe notes that his son’s name is Jadarius.

Jeezy did turn himself in on Friday, but only after grand jury warrants were issued. He was then released on $45,000 bond.

“We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy,” an attorney for the rapper told TMZ.

Jeezy was in the news back in September when he said he was dropping the “Young” from his name.
