Things just keep getting worse for former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez. He is now facing two wrongful death lawsuits from the families of two men who were killed in Boston in July of 2012.

In July 2012 Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado were at a nightclub in Boston’s theatre district. They left the club with three friends and were at a red light when someone in an SUV pulled up next to them. Someone fired a gun from the SUV and Abreu and Furtado were killed. One of their friends who was with them was wounded. Both lawsuits claim that Hernandez "willfully, recklessly and/or maliciously shot a firearm from inside of his motor vehicle" into the car that Abreu and Furtado were in, killing them both, according to Fox Sports.

"The fatal attack was without provocation or justification," William T. Kennedy, the attorney for the two families that filed the suits, wrote in court filings.

Investigators believe that Hernandez was involved in the murders of Abreu and Furtado. However he hasn’t been criminally charged in the case yet. Both lawsuits seek $6 million in damages each, according to Boston.com.

Hernandez is facing first-degree murder and other criminal charges in the Odin Lloyd case. He has pleaded not guilty in that case. The Lloyd family has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Hernandez. In addition to the lawsuits and the Lloyd case, there is a criminal investigation going on after Hernandez got into a fight with an inmate this week. It will be interesting to see what happens to Hernandez when all of this ends.
