Amy Adams is preparing for the Oscars in more ways than one.
Adams arrived at the Dolby Theatre on Friday for Oscar rehearsals Friday in rain boots. Shortly before entering the stage, Adams traded her weather appealing boots for silver stilettos reported the Associated Press.
With heels to impress the 39-year-old actress practiced her lines for Sunday’s Academy Awards. The presenter wore jeans, a gray sweater and no make-up as well. Before leaving the rehearsals, Adams replaced her stilettos with socks and boots.
“My sport socks, because I’m working out later,” said Adams.
In addition to being a presenter at the Awards, Adams’s has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in her role of American Hustle. Adams also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for this role and BAFTA nominations.
Previously Adams has been nominated for four Academy Awards, four Golden Gobles, six Screen Actors Guild Awards (winning one), and three BAFTA awards.
The Academy Awards will begin at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday on ABC.
