It’s a man’s world – even in Hollywood. Angelina Jolie was the only female actor to make the top ten of highest paid actors.

According to E! News, Jolie made $33 million dollars in 2013, which put her right below the lowest, paid actor, Denzel Washington. Robert Downey Jr. made number one on the list, coming in at $75 million.

The Women’s Media Center, who recorded the finding of top grossing actors and actresses in Hollywood, found there is unfair payment in the business. Not only was Jolie the only woman to make the list but she was also the only actor in the top ten to have won an Oscar.

The study found age was a factor in women’s earning potential, according to Mail Online. Many of the men earning the most were 40-years-old or older.

The survey also noted a rise in younger actresses being asked to take their clothes off on screen with the percentage of teenage girls seen with some nudity increasing a third since 2007.

Not only this, but only six percent of the top 100 films that were produced in 2012 cast men and women in equal numbers.
