Vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter, and mint chocolate chip. What comes to mind when you see these words? If you guessed ice cream, then good for you! If you guessed some other kind of tasty treat, then that is just fine as well since there is nothing like giving in to that sweet tooth of yours.
It was just recently announced that Ben & Jerry’s, the popular ice cream label that has spawned amazing flavors such as Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia, was coming out with new ‘core’ flavors. This not only sounds like the perfect idea to give your sweet tooth what it needs, but it sounds so good!
Ben & Jerry’s is not the only ice cream brand there is. When you go to the grocery store, you can choose between different types of ice cream you’d like, including the store’s brand. Ice cream comes in all different flavors, as well as textures, and some ice creams may interest you more than others. So what are some of the best ice cream brands there are? Breyer’s
Breyer’s ice cream is smooth, creamy, and delicious. It’s so easy to scoop out of their package, which is especially good when you don’t want to stand there having to fight with the ice cream scooper and making a big mess. Breyer’s also comes out with ice creams that have classic takes on famous treats, such as Butterfinger or Oreo’s. Personally, I love the Betty Crocker’s chocolate chip cookie dough. It’s so easy to scoop out and it melts in your mouth. Plus, they just came out with their new Gelato ice cream in flavors such as Vanilla Caramel, Raspberry Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate, and Tiramisu. Yum!
Coldstone
For anyone who is out and it’s just too hot, Coldstone creamery is a blessing. They have so many fun flavors and you can make the toppings anyway you want. The ice cream is so soft and smooth and it’s the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. For the chocolate lover, they have Chocolate Devotion and if you want some fruit, there’s Cheesecake Fantasy. With fun names to go with these delicious flavors, it’s easy to see why this shop is so popular.
Ben & Jerry’s
Of course the popular brand we love is on the list as well. Their flavors are fun and the packaging is colorful enough to get your attention. I would eat cartons of Phish food ice cream all the time, mostly so I could save the chocolate fishes to eat after taking a good bite of the ice cream. There is nothing like this classic ice cream, especially now that they have added even more to their menu.
Schwan’s
I used to always go to Schwan’s as a child and I loved their hot fudge sundaes. The fudge is nice and warm and perfect to go with their cool, smooth ice cream in any flavor you like. Plus, if you have a shop near you, you can pick up your own carton of their ice cream.
These are just some of the brands that are absolutely amazing, not only because of the flavor and taste, but there are so many varieties you can choose from. Plus, it’s just so much fun to add your own toppings, or find an ice cream that soothes your taste buds if you are craving something sweet in particular.
