Former NFL safety Darren Sharper's rape case continued to get worse for him as an arrest warrant was issued on behalf of his charges.
These charges allege that Sharper raped two women on the same night in a New Orleans apartment, according to FOX 8. Sharper's acquaintance, Erik Perez, was also cited in the warrant as someone who allegedly raped those two women.
In addition to the warrant, Sharper will be under investigation for reportedly raping nine women in five different states, according to USA Today. Sharper and Perez each face two counts of aggravated rape.
Sharper pleaded not guilty to charges of drugging two women in Los Angeles before sexually assaulting them last week.
Sharper played safety for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints. He helped the Saints win their first Super Bowl in franchise history in 2009 by getting nine interceptions. He has been named to six All-Pro teams and was voted to five Pro Bowls.
He will face up to 30 years in prison for his Los Angeles charges alone if he is convicted.
