Beyoncé refuses to let us forget how she made her mark on the 2013 Super Bowl, and has returned once more for a Super Bowl weekend appearance. The DirectTV “Super Saturday Night” party that took place last night was lucky enough to experience a surprise performance from America’s favorite power couple.
The concert took place at Pier 41 in New York City, where Jay Z was scheduled to perform. According to Huffington Post Jay Z surprised the audience when he brought his wife out for their newest hit “Drunk in Love” from Beyoncé’s latest self-titled album.
Donning a stunning black sequined gown with peek-a-boo slits, Beyoncé danced and sang around Jay Z as he rapped.
The swoon-worthy performance wouldn’t be complete with out a royal embrace from the famous couple. E! Online reports that Jay Z even called for praise of his wife, calling out to the crowd “all hail the queen!”
