Veteran actor Bill Murray is giving his insight into Shia LaBeouf’s bizarre behavior these past few weeks. Although he hasn’t responded yet, it likely won’t take him long.
At a brunch at the International Film Festival Berlinale over the weekend, promoting his film Rock the Kasbah, Murray said of the 27-year-old Nymphomaniac star that he probably got picked on as a kid.
"Shia LaBeouf, I don't know. He's got a funny name. That's his problem…and a cross to bear," he said, E! Online reports. "It's like A Boy Named Sue…he probably got beat up a lot.”
For the past twenty days, LaBeouf has tweeted the phrase “I am not famous anymore” on Twitter. He also showed up to the Berlin Film Festival with a paper bag over his head that read the same phrase.
Before storming a press conference earlier that day, he reportedly said on his way out of the door "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much,” which is from French soccer star Eric Cantona.
