This year the beloved comedy How I Met Your Mother will be coming to close and fans will finally see how Ted Mosby finds his wife. CBS, the network that airs How I Met Your Mother is looking to cash in on the series finale and is offering advertising spots for $500,000.

Previous clients that had already purchased advertising time up front will not have to pay the full half a million dollars, they will be charged around $350,000 to $300,000 for the ad time during the series finale, Variety reported.

The average cost for marketers to air a commercial during HIMYM is around $169,364.

The series finale will air on Monday, March 31. The show's co-creator, Carter Bays tweeted the news out to fans, which was soon followed be a press release from CBS announcing the conclusion of the popular comedy, The Huffington Post reported.

How I Met Your Mother stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, and Cristin Milioti.

The spin-off to How I Met Your Mother, How I Met Your Dad is already in production and will star Greta Gerwig.
