CBS announced on Friday that the network will be changing its Thursday comedy schedule up slightly between Two and a Half Men and The Crazy Ones. The network also revealed the premiere dates for freshmen comedy Bad Teacher and returning drama Unforgettable.
Starting on Feb. 27 after the Sochi Winter Olympics has concluded, veteran comedy Two and a Half Men will air at 9 p.m., moving half an hour earlier and trading places with Robin Williams' The Crazy Ones.
Deadline notes that the swap is likely an attempt to group Two and a Half Men with other multi-camera comedies, as it will now follow The Big Bang Theory and The Millers. Williams' Crazy Ones could then see a boost as it uses a more established show as a lead-in.
CBS' late midseason comedy Bad Teacher, starring Ari Graynor, will slip into the 9:30 p.m. slot on Thursdays starting on April 24, after Crazy Ones finishes out its 22-episode season. The show, adapted from the Cameron Diaz film, follows a former trophy wife playing at being teacher as she looks for a new wealthy husband.
Unforgettable will premiere a little bit earlier than last year on Friday, April 4 at 8 p.m. The drama follows a detective, Poppy Montgomery, who has an extremely good memory and works for the NYPD's Major Crimes Section.
