Chris Brown is facing more legal ramifications for his controversial behavior. The “Fine China” singer is being sued by the man who he allegedly punched outside of his Washington D.C. hotel back in October, which prompted another arrest.

Parker Isaac Adams filed a civil lawsuit on Tuesday against both Brown and his bodyguard. Brown was arrested for the incident on a misdemeanor assault charge.

According to CBS News, Adams is suing the men in an attempt to cover his medical bills. He claims they assaulted him outside of the W Hotel after getting into an altercation about Brown posing for a photo with two female fans.

At the time of his arrest, Brown was still on probation from his 2009 assault charge against then-girlfriend Rihanna.

AP reports on Thursday, lawyers for the R&B singer chose April 17 as his trial date for the assault charge.

Last month, Brown’s lawyer revealed they had rejected a plea deal that would’ve found them guilty of simple assault because he’s adamant he is innocent.

Brown checked into rehab for anger management in the fall.
