Christina Aguilera is pregnant with her second child! It has been revealed that her and her new fiancé, Matt Rutler, will be having a baby together.
Just last week on Valentine’s Day, Christina and Matt announced on Twitter that they were engaged. The two met in 2010 on the film set for Burlesque and have been dating since. They have been living together in her $10 million LA mansion since last year. Christina already has one child, Max, who is 6-years-old, with he ex-husband Jordan Bratman and is super excited to be having another child!
Matt’s mom, Kathleen Rutler, is the one who first spilled the news to In Touch Weekly about the pregnancy. At first, Kathleen was hesitant about sharing anything she wasn’t supposed to as she laughed and said she’s “been sort of told not to say anything.”
She then went on to give even more hints that the two are most likely having a baby together. When asked if Christina and Matt would be moving to the East Coast together she said, “I don’t know what their plans are. But when you have a baby, you’re not planning on moving anywhere anytime soon!” This seems to be a pretty big hint of what is to come in the near future for the couple.
She remained quiet and was careful not to share any more, but did make it clear that no wedding plans have been made yet. But Kathleen doesn’t need a wedding to consider Christina part of the family. “We love Christina,” she gushed. “She’s a Rutler.”
A source also told E! News that she is expecting baby number two. Christina has not commented on the news yet, but being somebody who is fairly private about her personal life, this is expected. Congratulations to the couple on their engagement and baby news!
