Christina Aguilera is engaged!
Aguilera revealed on her Twitter Friday that she is engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Matt Rutler.
Aguilera posted a picture of her and Rutler holding hands, her huge engagement ring in plain sight, with the caption: "he asked, I said....." The picture is taken in front of a tropical coastline.
According to Just Jared, Rutler proposed on the eve of Valentine's Day.
Aguilera and Rutler met on the set of her 2010 movie, 'Burlesque'.
This will be the second marriage for Aguilera, who was married to Jordan Bratman for five years, and whom she shares a son with.
The previous couple's divorce was coincidentally finalized three years ago almost exactly to the day that Aguilera and Rutler became engaged, reports New York Daily News.
When asked about Rutler on the Ellen show in November, 2011, Aguilera said "he's the love of my life, and I adore him. He's such a character and he's so happy, and at the end of the day, that's what's most important."
