Singing superstar Christina Aguilera has gotten engaged. The singer, who is a judge on The Voice got the ultimate Valentine's Day gift by announcing on Twitter that film producer Matthew Rutler asked her to marry him.
People reports how Aguilera and her boyfriend of almost four years are now engaged to be married. Aguilera tweeted how Rutler asked for her hand in marriage and she said yes. Rutler has been a constant presence in Aguilera's son Max life. Max is Aguilera's son from her first marriage to Jordan Bratman.
Us Weekly reveals that Agiulera and Bratman were married from for nearly five years, before finalizing their divorce in 2011. The pair share custody of their son Max, 6. Aguilera has expressed her deep love for her son Max, she told Ellen DeGeneres back in 2010 that, "He's the love of my life, and I adore him." Aguilera, met her new fiance back in 2010 on the set of the movie Burlesque and even though Aguilera usually keeps her personal life very private her and Rutler have been spotted at many public events.
