Here’s our daily wrap for Wednesday February 12th:

Fox’s Batman prequel, Gotham, has filled more supporting roles. Ben McKenzie has already been cast as James Gordon and now the series has added four more actors to the project. The Penguin, also known as Oswald Cobblepot, will be played by Robin Lord Taylor. Batman’s helpful butler Alfred will be played by Sean Pertwee and Zabryna Guevara will play Capt. Essen. Also cast was Gordon’s fiancée, Barabara Kean, played by Erin Richards.

Andy Samberg dropped out of the BBC sitcom Cuckoo and has been replaced by Twilight’s Taylor Lautner. Samberg left the program due to scheduling issues since he also stars on the hit Fox show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Lautner will play character Rachel’s new American boyfriend.

Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees took to Facebook to tell his fans that the 2014 baseball season will be his last. Jeter posted a 15 paragraph statement to his Facebook page saying this season would be his last and that he was “100 percent sure” about his decision.
