Popular rapper DMX will appear in a boxing match with George Zimmerman.
According to the Daily Mail, boxing promoter Damon Feldman confirmed that the boxing match will occur. Celebrity boxing is nothing new, and DMX could have been chosen due to his tough image. Rapper DMX was chosen to fight Zimmerman out a group of 15,000 applicants.
According to TMZ, the boxing match will be three rounds and will be held in a secret location for a small audience.
DMX, originally named as Earl Simmons, is known for his fighting words. His previous albums include : Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood, The Great Depression, Grand Champ, Year of the Dog…Again, and Undisputed.
In 2000, he was nominated as favorite rap/hip-hop artist at the American Music Awards. He was nominated for Best Breakthrough Video, Best Rap Video, and Best Video from a Film at the MTV Video Music Awards. He was seen in the films Romeo Must Die, Cradle 2 the Grave, and Last Hour.
