During an interview with Rolling Stone, Drake spoke about dating rumors, why he skipped the Grammys and Kanye West.
Drake has been linked to multiple well-known celebrity females including Jhené Aiko, who he collaborated with on in his Nothing was the Same album, Serena Williams, and Teyana Taylor.
However, one girl that the rumors always seem to come back to is Rihanna. The two have had a previous fling, one that Drake has said that had him feeling "terrible" after it ended, according to The Music Mix.
The duo seems to be in a better place now, as they were recently seen leaving the same night club. Despite leaving separately, rumors sparked that the two may be seeing each other again.
According to Latin Post, in his interview with Rolling Stone, Drake denied this.
“She’s the ultimate fantasy,” Drake told Rolling Stone. “I mean think about it. Like, ‘Man that would be good.’ We have fun together, she’s cool and sh*t. But we’re just friends. That’s my dog for life.”
When it was found out that Drake was hanging out with Rihanna and not attending the Grammy Awards, rumors only grew. However, Drake had a specific reason for opting out of the awards.
“It becomes more apparent how irrelevant our genre is to them,” Drake explained. “They were trying to utilize me to sell the show, requesting me to come and perform ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’ but they didn’t nominate it for anything! They’re calling me, e-mailing me every day to do some elaborate performance and bring them viewers, but I didn’t get a nomination for Album of the Year. I didn’t get a nomination for Song of the Year.”
