Celebrity parents in America have been fighting to keep the paparazzi and media from taking pictures of their children and E! News has announced they stand by the views of celeb parents.

E! News released a letter Wednesday, Feb. 26, announcing their support for Kristen Bell who has spoken out about the mass media using pictures of celebrities’ children without their consent.

“We have always tried to hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to this subject, but after meeting with Kristen, we appreciate even more how out of hand the pursuit of child images has gotten,” E! President, Suzanne Kolb, said in the letter.

The popular entertainment news company did state they would use footage and photos of children when their famous parents choose to bring them to red-carpet or similar event, or otherwise endorse the image of the child. They would also feature child stars “in their own right.”

This is not the first attempt at spreading awareness for the discontinued use of celebrity children photos for actress Kristen Bell. According to Jezebel, Kristen Bell took to Twitter in late January asking fans to boycott magazines that ran pictures of celeb kids.
