Ellen DeGeneres will host the Academy Awards for the second time this Sunday and the syndicated daytime talk show host is letting fans know how she’s preparing for the big day.

DeGeneres appeared on Good Morning America on Friday and told Robin Roberts she’s fully prepared, but you never know what’s going to happen on the live stage.

She said she “has everything written,” and has had some material written for months but she also said she’s sure she will be writing “up until that morning,” ABC News reports. She also revealed she will be in the audience a lot during the show.

“I’m now working on what I’m doing throughout the whole show, because I’ll be in the audience a lot and playing with people a lot. So there’s going to be a lot of playing with people in the audience all throughout the show,” she said.

She went on to say she will never tell a joke at someone else’s expense, so her job is “to relax everybody because there’s so much anxiety in the room.”

Her main goals are not to overshadow anyone and to definitely be better this time around.

“There’s no other reason to do it unless I’m going to do better than I did last time and better than you see me on my show,” she said.
