It’s only been days since it was announced Brooke Burke-Charvet had been let go from Dancing With The Stars and there are already reports that a replacement has been found for the former co-host and contestant of the dancing show.
According to E! News, sports broadcaster Erin Andrews has been chosen to replace Burke-Charvet as co-host. Andrews had competed on the show in its 10th season, with Maksim Chermovskiy as her partner.
In a statement to Us Magazine, a source reported, “The paperwork is being finalized but it is happening.”
E! News also reported Burke-Charvet didn’t know she was in danger of losing her job until ABC spoke with her.
Burke-Charvet sent a tweet out to her fans, thanking them for their support during her run on the show.
Thanks for all the love & support. I loved my time in the ballroom & I'll love my next chapter too. Change is positive. Love you guys!

Us Magazine also reported that Conrad Green, executive producer of DWTS, made a statement to them saying, "We can confirm that Brooke Burke-Charvet will not be joining us next season. She's been a wonderful part of the Dancing with the Stars family since her triumphant win in season seven and will unquestionably be missed by our entire team. We'd like to thank Brooke for her years of great service."
DWTS is going into its 18th season and Burke-Charvet wasn’t the only one who was let go from the show. It’s also been reported they let go of their music director, Harold Wheeler, and all of the members of his band.
With all that has been going on behind the scenes of DWTS, it will sure be interesting to see where they go from here when the show returns on March 17.
