Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Monday morning after crashing into another vehicle on the 101 Freeway in California.
He hit a maintenance truck with his Mercedes in the San Fernando Valley sometime around 2am. Kattan admitted to taking prescription drugs.
According to CBS Los Angeles, California Highway Patrol officials say a woman called to say a “Mercedes was weaving all over the roadway at slow speeds.”
He hit a Department of Transportation vehicle parked on the shoulder of the highway after driving into an area blocked off for freeway closure. He wasn’t injured, and there was reportedly no one in the vehicle that he hit.
TMZ reports Kattan, 43, has admitted he did take prescription drugs but did not consume any alcohol ahead of the crash.
The Corky Romano actor was booked at the Van Nuys Jail, with cops saying he looked pretty out of it during the arrest.
