Big name NBA players such as Paul George, John Wall and Damian Lillard are among those who will headline the dunk contest during NBA All-Star weekend.
ESPN reports that on Wednesday night (Feb.5), Indiana's George, Washington's Wall, Portland's Lillard, along with last year's champion Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors have been confirmed as entrants in the dunk contest as well a. On Thursday, Feb.6, it was confirmed that Golden State's Harrison Barnes and Sacramento rookie Ben McLemore round out the group of participants who are competing.
Comcast Sports reveals how Portland's Lillard will have a busy couple of days during the NBA All-Star weekend. In addition, to competing in the dunk contest, Lillard, who won Rookie of the Year last season, will also be defending his title as champ in the Skills Challenge, and he will also be playing in the Rising Stars Challenge and the All-Star game on Sunday, Feb. 16. Lillard, also is considering taking part in the Three-Point Shootout as well because he is excited about the idea to participate in all five events, which will be history in the making, since no other player has done it thus far and he will be the first to accomplish it.
