Netflix announced that their hit show, House of Cards has already been renewed for a third season before the second season has premiered.
A representative from Netflix spoke about season three and said that House of Cards has already been given an early renewal and the production for season three will start soon.
Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos spoke about the excitement around another season of House of Cards. " "I think if you look at the original House of Cards, there was a natural third season, and we could go well beyond that," said Sarandos, The Hollywood Reporter added.
House of Cards was one of the first original series for Netflix and has been a huge success including an Emmy win for Robin Wright as best actress.
Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are expected to return for the third season.
Season two for House of Cards will be released on February 14th. The entire season, which has 13 episodes, will be available at once for fans to watch, App Advice reported.
