Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin, is stepping out on Sunday, March 2, to act as a fashion correspondent at the Oscars.

While her father Alec has been fed up with being in the public eye and has recently threatened to give up the public life he has now, his daughter is stepping up to make her presence known.

Earlier this week, Alec has said after years of fighting with the paparazzi and reporters that he will no longer be discussing his personal life.

“Now I loathe and despise the media in a way I did not think possible,” Alec said.

But that’s not stopping the 18-year-old model who has been featured in publications such as W Magazine, Vanity Fair, DuJour and more. Although, according to The Huffington Post, she walked her first runway show during this month’s New York Fashion Week. She was sporting a Donna Karan one-shouldered gown.

On Monday, Feb. 24, she spoke with Us Weekly about her nerves about the upcoming role.

“I’m not used to being on camera so it’s interesting, but it’s so much fun working with Joe,” Ireland said. “It just feels like you’re having a conversation… I’m into it, I love it.”

You can catch Ireland live during the red carpet coverage on TVGN With ET at the Oscars, March 2.
