Jerry Seinfeld doesn’t consider gender or cultural diversity when it comes to comedy.

The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” star was recently questioned as to why his show has only had white male guests. “Who cares?” Seinfeld asked during the Buzzfeed Brews with CBS This Morning interview. “Funny is the world I live in. If you’re funny, I’m interested. If you’re not, I’m not interested. And I have no interest in race and gender or anything like that.”

This idea of a lack of diversity is not new to the actor. In his hit show Seinfeld which was on air in the ‘90s, Seinfeld was also questioned for his lack of cultural diversity. Seinfeld has always been adamant that comedy isn’t about racial or gender-based quotas, but rather being able to make others laugh.

During the same interview, Seinfeld also expressed no interest in having a reunion for the show Seinfeld, after many began to question his Super Bowl commercial as a way of “testing the waters.”

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is an online show in which Seinfeld sits down with various celebrities, interviewing them over coffee.
