Jimmy Kimmel announced his wife is pregnant with his third baby!
According to E! News, the late-night talk show host confirmed the exciting news during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, which will air on Wednesday, Feb. 26. He first joked he was having a baby with Ellen but later added, “No, I decided to have the first one with my wife.”
Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, a 35-year-old co-head writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live are still unsure on whether they want to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl, according to People.
“I would like it to be a surprise and my wife was happy with that idea until about a week ago,” he explained. “She started saying, ‘We really need to find out.’ But I don’t think it matters. You [don't] need to make the baby’s room blue or pink — it’s inherently ridiculous. I don’t think they can even see colors.”
The 46-year-old went on to joke about the baby news when he referred to himself as an “old dad” as he said there are new ways to do new things.
This is Kimmel’s first baby with wife McNearney. The couple started dating in 2009 and were married last July.
