Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel still awaits the 2014 NFL Draft, and he is out to prove his doubters wrong and prove that he is franchise quarterback material.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner stated that he would like to be picked No. 1 overall by the Houston Texans, according to NFL.
The Texans are set to pick first in the draft, and Manziel stated that picking him first overall would be a great decision and that passing on him would be the worst decision they have ever made.
He pointed out that the Jacksonville Jaguars may take him with the No. 3 overall pick if the Texans pass on him, forcing the Texans to face him twice a year, according to Houston Chronicle.
After winning the Heisman, Manziel became notorious for his off the field antics, which is sure to bring questions about his maturity. Manziel admitted that he made "goofball decisions" though, and he has continued to work with quarterback guru George Whitfield Jr.
