Justin Bieber’s friend, Lil Za, has been charged with three felonies following getting arrested for possession when police were searching the 19-year-old pop star’s house on the egg-throwing warrant.
When they searched the home on Jan. 14, everyone there was detained and Lil Za was booked for having drugs in plain sight. While at the police station, he caught another charge for acting violently.
Lil Za has now formally been charged with felony possession of Ecstasy and oxycodone. He got a third felony for breaking the jail phone provided for inmates.
According to TMZ, if he’s found guilty on all of these counts, he could face up to nine years in prison.
Since police carried out that search warrant, Bieber has been arrested twice in the span of less than a week. He was first arrested in Miami for DUI, driving without a valid license and resisting arrest and he was arrested a second time in Canada when he turned himself in for alleged assault.
According to Daily News, his plane was searched in Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Friday when it was suspected he had marijuana. He’s been in New York since then, spotted at the Maxim magazine party that same night.
