The shoes Kanye West designs for Nike usually go for a large sum of money on eBay, but his "Red October" Air Yeezy 2 has reached new heights. Consumers were able to buy the shoes in Nike stores for $245 but since they quickly sell out, they’re able to re-sell them for an astronomical amount of money online.
A pair of the shoes are currently being sold for £10M, or $16.3 million in U.S. money on eBay.
On Sunday, Nike took to Twitter to both announce the shoes were available in stores and soon after, to announce they were sold out.

According to Daily Mail, the shoes sold out in stores after just 11 minutes. Those who bought them immediately started selling them on eBay for $7,500.
The always outspoken West has previously voiced his aggravation with the brand, saying “They try to act like people ain't line up for the Yeezys. [Nike CEO] Mark Parker tried to son me. Yes. Son me because I am the sun and I will shine bright. And when I don't have as much money as a billionaire and when I don't have the factories that, that dude has over there, what I do have is my voice. Ain't no corporation that can take me away from my voice and I'm going to scream at the top of my motherf--king mountain as loud as I want.”
