Kate Mara stripped down for a sexy spread for GQ’s latest issue, just in time for the new season of Netflix’s hit series House of Cards. The show returns to the streaming service with all 13 episodes available at once starting on Friday.

Mara, the older sister of actress Rooney Mara, plays journalist Zoe Barnes on the show, in which she stars with Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. While her interview briefly touched on football (her father’s family owns the Giants and her mother’s side runs the Steelers), she did talk about the new season of House of Cards.

When asked if the acting dial is turned up for season two, Mara said that the first season was already challenging. “[Executive producer] Beau Willimon has a very big imagination. And he and our writing staff, I think they really pulled through this season,” Mara said. “Because it’s hard to top all the things that happened last season.”

Mara admitted that she hasn’t even watched all of season two herself, so she might be as surprised by some developments as fans. “Last year, before Season One came out, I had seen all the episodes; this year I haven’t, so I’m just as excited to watch it like anyone else. Still, I think it's just as surprising and addictive. Hopefully, we'll see,” she said.

She also said that while Spacey wasn’t able to do other work while filming House of Cards, she did get a chance to take another big job: Transcendence with Johnny Depp. The movie was made in New Mexico and opens in April.
