Just days after reports of an engagement it’s now being reported Katy Perry and John Mayer have called it quits again. The “Who You Love” singers are said to have split within the past few days.
The couple have looked closer than ever these past few weeks, which led to speculation that they were engaged when the “Dark Horse” singer stepped out with a ring on that finger.
But a source told E! News that they broke up very recently, without providing any details about it.
Mayer didn’t join his girlfriend during her recent trip to London and Milan. She was back in California on Friday and if the reports are true, the split happened upon her return. When she was seen kissing Miley Cyrus at her Bangerz concert over the weekend, Mayer wasn’t there.
The on-again, off-again couple went public with their relationship in summer of 2012 and they broke up a few times before seeming really solid.
Daily News reports they’ve been together without breaking up for almost a year.
