Katy Perry might be going through another break-up with her on-again, off-again boyfriend John Mayer but she got to witness the miracle of life on Wednesday as she helped deliver her sister’s baby.
The “Dark Horse” singer, 29, took to Twitter to let her followers know she assisted in the birth of her older sister, Angela Hudson’s child.

Perry didn’t directly say it was her sister who was giving birth, but E! Online notes it most likely was.
The exciting news comes a day after it was revealed by multiple sources that Perry had called it quits with Mayer again. It comes as a surprise to fans, as they’ve seemed as strong as ever in recent weeks.
Her world tour, which is booked from May-November, is reportedly one of the reasons for the split. Mayer also goes on tour from April to June.
Mayer and Perry first went public with their relationship in the summer of 2012 and after a few break-ups, have been solid for almost a year.
