Glee stars, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith started off as TV couple but then the two fell in love on the set of Glee, and they began dating in 2011. Sadly, back in July, in a Vancouver hotel room, 31 year old Cory Monteith passed away due to a lethal combination of alcohol and heroin.
According to People, Michele opened about dealing with the loss of her boyfriend at a Los Angeles listening party, Tuesday night. The party was for her first album, "Louder."
Michele talked about her meeting with songwriter, Sia Furler and she let her listen to the song, "Cannonball."
"When I heard 'Cannonball,'it lifted me up.It was what I needed to get through my difficult situation," Michele said at the listening party.
Today, she released a new song on the album called, "If You Say So," according to, US Magazine. The song is a tribute to Monteith's last words to her.
In the song, she also sings about the days following his death.
"Louder" will be released on March 3, and you can listen to the entire album on iTunes before the release.
