On Friday an x-ray confirmed that Miami Heat star, LeBron James suffered a broken nose during Thursday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The injury happened when Thunder forward, Serge Ibaka, unintentionally elbowed James in the face as both players were driving towards the basket in the fourth quarter.

Immediately after the play blood was pouring from James’ nose, he sat out the last few minutes of the game. According to AssociatedPress James passed a concussion test but did not talk to reporters after the Heat’s victory, instead he sat in front of his locker with a towel draped over his head.

The Heat’s next game is Sunday at home against the Chicago Bulls. James is listed as a game-time decision. But, according to espn James is expecting to play on Sunday.

The superstar has proven his durability along with his talent through the years. He has only missed one game this season and has never missed more than seven games in a season.
